Dragon Ply is available Certified to meet the Phase II formaldehyde emission standards of the California Air Resource Board (CARB). CARB standards regulate the formaldehyde emissions for all interior wood products (cabinets, furniture, millwork, etc.) that are produced in , or shipped to California. As well as being CARB certified, some species of Dragon Ply are available certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC).
Veneer
- Inspected on site by Hardwoods regional staff to ensure HPVA and better veneer grades
- Both thin face and thick face are veneers available on all cabinet grade and structural grade plywood
- All thick face MPF and PS fancy veneer is composed by machine. The same Swiss made machinery used to compose domestic face veneers. This process prevents any overlap or gap and ensures the highest quality veneer joinery
- Thin faced lay-up is also available upon request in all fancy plywood species

Core
- Multi-ply core construction combined with proper material handling and drying results in a more stable higher quality core
- All core material is machine dried before lay up and platforms are inspected to ensure 12% moisture content or less prior to shipping
- Cores are calibrated before application of face veneer to ensure HPVA or better thickness tolerance
- Glue line options include: CARB P2, NAUF, E1, E2, and Exterior WBP
- Core options include: Poplar VC, Combi Core, All Birch Core, Tropical Hardwood Core, MDF crossbanded VC, FSC Poplar VC, Lightweight VC, Lightweight Lumber core, MDF and Particleboard core
