Manufactured using the post-industrial residual by-products of other wood products, particleboard is made by mixing these particles with resins and using heat and pressure to form solid boards. Particleboard generally consists of a core and two outside layers and is a non-structural, interior product.
Particleboard panels are available unfinished or upgraded with a variety of finishes including thermally fused melamine, paper overlays, paint or veneer.
Hardwoods Specialty Products offers C.A.R.B. phase II compliant particleboard in industrial, commercial and underlayment grades in a wide variety of panel sizes and thicknesses as well as fire rated, moisture resistance, NAF, ULEF and FSC.
